How does your photo shoot with a horse work ?

So that you can get an initial idea of how a photo shoot goes and how to plan it, I will go through the exact process step by step. This way, you will know exactly what to expect during your photo shoot with a horse and what is important when planning. This is important so that you can look forward to your horse shoot in a relaxed manner, without getting nervous or having to worry that something unexpected will happen. Because in the end, you should be looking forward to your shoot with your favorite horse and get involved without being distracted by uncertainties.

post-processing and selection gallery

After your horse shoot, the post-processing phase begins for me. While you can sit back and relax, I will look through all the photos from our horse shoot, develop them and create a selection gallery for you. I will send you a link for this within 7 days of the shoot. This will take you to a password-protected selection gallery where you can view all the images in their unedited state. You mark your favorite images with a heart and then send me your selection. The images you have selected here from your horse shoot will then be further edited and retouched by me. If you need help selecting your favorite images, I will be happy to help you here too and support you in your decision.

Finished images

Once the image editing is complete, you will receive the finished images in the form of a digital download. You will receive a version with a watermark for publication on social networks and a version without, for your private use. You can download your memories as many times as you like and transfer them to multiple devices (such as a computer, cell phone, tablet, etc.). You will also receive your finished images from your horse shoot as a high-quality print measuring 13x19cm. Because it is only when you actually hold your favorite moments in your hands that you realize how precious such moments really are. An integrated shop in your gallery also gives you the option of ordering additional prints of your images, printing them on canvas or having a photo book or calendar created.

Discussing the final details

Once we have made contact and discussed the first details, the planning phase begins. This is where we lay the foundation for your individual and unique photo shoot with your favorite horse. About 2-3 days before your horse shoot, we discuss the final details, such as the exact time, check whether the weather is right, discuss your outfit again and address all wishes and photo ideas that you would like to implement. Sometimes there are several weeks or even months between making contact and making an appointment and this conversation to clarify the final details. In the meantime, you can of course write to me at any time, ask questions, send pictures and locations of other possible locations and also of your horse, possible outfits or poses and picture ideas. I would be happy to advise you in detail on all your concerns so that your horse shoot is a complete success.

Your horse shoot begins with contact. You write me a non-binding inquiry. This can be done by email, social media, phone, or WhatsApp. We discuss what you want exactly, find out which shooting package best suits your needs and ideas, and arrange a shooting appointment. In the preliminary discussion before your horse shoot, we get to know each other and clarify important details, such as the desired date and time, which locations are possible, and discuss possible outfits to perfectly round off the overall picture. I will also send you a questionnaire to fill out so that we can get to know each other even better. You will also receive a small digital information folder with the exact schedule of the shoot, a few useful tips on how to make photo shoots with horses as relaxed as possible, and the shooting contract.

Finally, the time has come! The day of the photo shoot has arrived! With a relaxed atmosphere and a lot of attention to detail, we will begin to capture lots of great and unique moments of you and your horse. I will accompany you very discreetly, give instructions on poses and assistance if necessary and create a very calm and relaxed atmosphere. The connection between you and your horse is the focus here, while we capture many very authentic moments. Whether outdoors, on the riding arena or in the stable - I will make sure that you and your horse have a great experience. You should both enjoy the time together and get emotionally involved with each other, creating moments that you will want to remember again and again. This will make your horse shoot a very special memory!

I devote a lot of love to editing your selected favorite pictures. The creative work of editing turns the pictures from your horse shoot into something very special and personal. It took me a long time and I invested a lot of time, money and patience in my skills to develop my very own personal style of photography. I want to implement this in every single picture and I do so with a lot of attention to detail. Image editing is an essential part of my work as a horse photographer and gives each captured moment its own final personal touch. I try not to change the picture too much, but to work out your relationship a little more so that in the end everything fits together perfectly.
