couples and families

Here I would like to give you a first impression of my work as a couple and family photographer. Even though my main focus is on animal photography and especially horse photography, I also feel at home in other areas of photography. I am particularly fond of couple and family photography. I love capturing the small and precious moments that bring out so much emotion and love. I create a very informal and relaxed atmosphere. I lead when possible, but still stay more in the background so you can just do what you want. Instead of posing, you can behave naturally and authentically. Just imagine you are going for a walk and I accompany you photographically in the background. Because a shoot with me should not feel like a shoot, but rather capture the small and real moments full of feelings that you feel for each other.

My work in couple and family photography is all about capturing real moments and the connections between you. It’s not about creating perfectly staged images but rather about preserving the moments that reflect your relationship – authentic, emotional, and unposed. Every bond, whether between partners or within a family, has its own unique dynamic, and that’s exactly what I aim to showcase. The little gestures, the familiar glances, the spontaneous joy – these are the elements that make a photo come alive and tell a story.

In couple photography, it’s all about your love and the uniqueness of your relationship. Every couple is different, and that should come through in the photos. It’s the quiet moments when you simply look at each other and share a smile, as well as the carefree laughter that defines your time together. Perhaps you’d like photos that show you in your everyday environment, during a walk, or in a place that holds special meaning for you. Or maybe you’d prefer to capture the magic of a sunset to bathe your love in a romantic light. No matter where we shoot, my goal is for you to feel comfortable and be yourselves. Only then can we create photos that reflect your connection and hold true significance for you.

Often, it’s the small gestures that leave the greatest impression in couple photography. The way you look at each other, how one hand gently touches the other, or a smile that lights up your face – these unposed moments are what I want to capture. You should see yourselves in the photos, not in a staged scene but in real moments that show who you are and what connects you. It’s not about perfection but about authenticity. I create an atmosphere where you can relax and focus entirely on each other. There’s no need to act or conform to a specific idea – it’s enough that you’re simply together.

In family photography, the focus is also on connection. Every family has its own story, its own dynamic, and its own special moments. These are the moments I want to preserve for you. It’s not about posed group pictures but about what makes you unique as a family. Maybe it’s your child’s laughter that brings you joy every time, or the quiet sense of security you feel when you’re all together. I want you to see yourselves in my photos and recognize a piece of your family that you can cherish forever.

A family photo is more than just an image. It’s a memory, a snapshot of a moment that might otherwise be lost in the busyness of daily life. It shows the warmth and love that bind you together and preserves them for the future. Whether it’s playing in the garden, cuddling on the couch, or taking a walk together – I want the photos to show you as you truly are. It’s the real, unposed moments that define your family, and those are what I aim to capture.

Children often take center stage in family photography, and rightly so. Their curiosity, their laughter, their carefree spirit – all of this makes them so unique. Children can’t be forced into a role, and that’s what makes working with them so special. They show their emotions openly, and that brings a liveliness to the photos that can’t be planned. I take the time to get to know the children at their own pace, so they feel comfortable and forget about the camera. This allows me to capture images that reflect their personality while also showcasing the love and care of the family.

Of course, parents are also an essential part of family photography. Often, it’s the small moments that make the difference: the protective arm of a parent, the proud gaze at their child, or the joy that shines through their laughter when they’re together. These emotions are what I want to make visible. It’s not about everything looking perfect but about the photos reflecting the truth of your family – with all the love, chaos, and special moments that make you who you are.

In couple and family photography, the setting plays an important role, but it should never take the spotlight. Whether we shoot outdoors in nature or in your home, the location is always the backdrop for your story. A blooming meadow, a forest in autumn, or a beach in the evening light can create beautiful backgrounds, but ultimately, it’s always about you and the connection you share. Even your own home can provide a wonderful setting, as it reflects your personality and your life. It’s not the place that makes the photo special but the moment captured within it.

I take the time to get to know you and create a relaxed atmosphere. You don’t need to know how to pose in front of the camera – that’s my job. I give you gentle guidance to help you stay natural without it feeling forced. Often, the best photos come from spontaneous moments when you’re entirely focused on each other and no longer aware of the camera. These are the moments that hold the most meaning because they are genuine and uncontrived.

There are no fixed rules for how a couple or family photo should look because every relationship is different. Some prefer playful and energetic images, while others favor quiet, intimate moments. Both have their own charm, and I adapt entirely to you to create photos that suit you and that you’ll always love looking at. It’s not just about aesthetics but also about feeling connected to the images and preserving a piece of your story.

I believe that photos are more than just beautiful pictures. They are memories that last even as time moves on. They tell stories of love, trust, and the special moments that make life meaningful. Whether it’s the giggle of a child that always makes you smile or the quiet moment when you look into each other’s eyes and feel only gratitude – these emotions are what I want to capture in my photos.

In the end, every photo I create for you should not only be something you like but also something that moves you. It should be a window into a moment you can relive every time you look at it. Whether as a couple or a family, you have a story worth telling. I look forward to discovering this story with you and capturing it in photos that will stay with you forever.
